With this editorial, the editor provides (a) commentary on advancing trauma and resilience research; (b) an acknowledgment of the outstanding contributions of past editors, current associate editors, and editorial board members; and (c) a vision for continued growth, rigor, and advancement of Traumatology Journal. This issue continues the rich tradition of the Traumatology Journal and is a collection of eight articles that contribute to the discourse of advancing trauma and resilience research in the face of adversity.
